My Story

Hello, I am Mandy and a fully registered childminder with the wonderful Rutland early years agency.

I am a mother of 3 children aged 5, 4 and 2 years and wife to Mike. We live in a lovely home in a rural setting on the edge of Matfield. I have been able to spend the last 6 years raising my children and am now am able to offer our home to other families to support their childcare needs. I have a love of nature and the outside world. I enjoy all sports in particular walking, cycling, cricket and snowboarding, the theatre, live music and travel too.

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

My Experience

Before becoming a mother I was a fully qualified teacher specialising in special needs which I enjoyed hugely but sadly did not give me the flexibility I desired. After spending the past 6 years raising my children I feel I have gained a good amount of experience to look after and support other children. My home is nurturing and homely with lots of toys, books, climbing equipment and arts and crafts. I have a large garden with two zones which include climbing frames, water play, sand pit, football goal, play house and more! I have balance and peddle bikes and have national trust, Hever castle and Bedgebury memberships and regularly take trips out.

Drop offs and pick ups to Brenchley and Matfield primary school and Brenchley pre school.
